The health record
that belongs to your pet.
Vaccinations, medications, reports and weight in one place.
Over 10 pets already have their record here.
Vaccination booklet in the car. Report in the inbox.
Pills in your head.
Everything about Milo lives in five places, and at the vet exactly that one piece of information is missing. We turned all of it into a single place that belongs to the pet and stays for a lifetime.
Milo’s whole life, in one record.
Everything in one place
Weight, vaccinations, medications, diagnoses, allergies and reports live in one record, neatly organized and always findable. Nothing is scattered across the vaccination booklet, the photo roll and your inbox anymore.
- The vaccination traffic light shows at a glance what is still valid
- Findings and costs sit right on the vet visit
- Every entry lands in the history automatically
Support instead of reminders
You see your pets every day and know what they need. That takes no push notifications. When you open Merla, it shows what is due today: medications and expiring vaccination cover. You confirm every dose with a tap, logged with the time.
- A schedule per medication, even two or three times a day
- With several pets, check off everything at once
Caring together
You invite whoever helps care long-term: your partner sees the same pets and adds entries, grandma reads along. Everyone has their own access with their own role. Two more people can join you at the same time, so there are three of you.
- Roles for reading or editing
- Invite by email or user tag
Share without giving the record away
For the practice, pet sitter or boarding kennel you create a link and decide which sections it shows. Every link can have an expiry date and can be revoked at any time.
- Choose per link which sections are visible
- Printable pass card in credit card size and a poster

One record, a whole life.
Most gaps in a pet's history happen when it moves. With us, the record stays with the pet, not with the account.

The record came along with every move.
For foster homes: two roles, one account
Next to your home you create a second space: your foster home. Your own pets and your foster pets stay neatly separated, you switch with one tap, and you pay once, your subscription covers all your spaces. When a foster pet is looking for a home, you enable your own adoption page and simply share its address. When the pet moves in, the complete record travels to the new family via the transfer link.
- A space of its own for the foster home
- Public adoption page with its own address
- Handover with the complete record
For shelters and rescues
Rounds with batch confirmation, adoption status, the animal register German law requires (§ 11 TierSchG). On adoption, the complete record moves to the new family.

Merla is what we were missing ourselves.
28 animals showed us what belongs in a record like this.
Some came from the shelter, some with a history, some live with our families and friends. Rarely was everything about their past in one place, and plenty was added along the way: illnesses, surgeries, allergies, intolerances, scattered across vaccination booklets, reports and slips of paper with weights. Merla grew out of everyday life with all these animals: a place where a pet's story stays together, no matter how often its life changes. We use the app every day ourselves, and maybe it can make your life easier too.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns my data?
You. We do not sell data and do not analyze it for advertising. You can export all spaces, pets and entries of your keeper world as a file at any time, photos per pet as a ZIP, and delete your account with all its contents.
What happens if I cancel?
Your records are kept, readable and exportable. One pet of your choice stays fully editable, the other records become read-only. For shelters and rescues: after cancelling, everything can still be read and exported, but nothing can be edited any more. Nothing is deleted unless you do it yourself.
Do I get reminders on my phone?
No, deliberately not. You see your pets every day and know what they need. Instead of push notifications, the app shows you what is due when you open it: due medications and expiring vaccination cover.
Does my vet practice see my whole record?
Only what you release. With the pet pass you choose per link which sections are visible, set a validity and can revoke it at any time.
I run a foster home. Do I need two accounts?
No. Next to your home you create a second space of the foster home type and switch with one tap. You pay once: your subscription is tied to your account and covers all your spaces.
Do I need an app from the store?
No. Merla runs in the browser and can be added to your phone's home screen like an app.
Does it work for several pets and for shelters?
Yes. On the Private plan you add as many pets as you like. Shelters and rescues get their own workspace with animals, rounds and adoption.
