For shelters and rescues

The record belongs to the animal.
Even after adoption.

Rounds, register and adoption in one workspace. The record does not end with the adoption, it moves with the animal to its new family.

Its own access, separate from the private owner app. We set up your workspace together with you and bring your existing animals along.

First, the obligation

The register keeps itself

Every intake, every move to a foster home and every adoption writes exactly the entry that German law (§ 11 TierSchG) requires: date, origin, whereabouts. You maintain nothing twice. When the inspection comes, you pick the period and export.

  • Intakes and departures with origin and whereabouts, generated from your data
  • Chip number, intake date and history attached to the animal
  • Export as a table, for any period, without asking us

Then, the daily routine

Rounds where nothing slips through

Morning rounds from kennel to kennel: the rounds view shows which animal needs what today, grouped per animal, with one tap for all doses. Every confirmation is logged with person and time. Shift changes stop costing handover notes.

  • Due medications, deworming and expiring vaccination cover in one place
  • Every dose logged, traceable weeks later
  • Roles from read-only to admin, revocable at any time

And in the end

An adoption that does not break off

The new family accepts a link, and the health record moves: vaccinations, neutering, diagnoses, all included. No photocopied booklets, no phone calls three weeks later. What is none of the family's business stays with you, and your register keeps the departure.

  • Public adoption page under your own address, no second upkeep
  • Internal notes, labels and previous owners' names do not travel
  • The family starts with a complete record in an app they keep

Compatibility with evidence

Good with cats, dogs, children, plus an incident log with fixed categories. Whoever takes an animal sees not just an assessment but the history behind it.

Control over your data

Roles per person, access revocable with one click, hosted in Frankfurt. Your data does not leave the EU.

Foster homes included

You manage foster homes in your housing section, the animal always shows where it currently lives, and the foster home can get a pet pass link to read along. The animal stays in your inventory and your register.

A free year for the first shelters

The first shelters and rescues work a full year for free, with everything the workspace can do, and with a direct line to us: what your daily work needs takes priority. Your public adoption page is included from day one.

We onboard the pilot shelters personally. Write to us at hello@merla.pet.
